Dilan is the principal of the firm and practices in the areas of Wills and Estates, Probate & Deceased Estate Administration, Commercial Law and  Litigation. Dilan has considerable experience overseas and locally.

Maria Varno

LLM(JD), GDLP, Barts (CrimJustAdm)

 Maria joined Kerr & Thomas recently. Prior to joining our team, Maria worked at as a Family Lawyer at a number of firms handling matters in the areas of family law, parenting, property and divorce, child protection and intervention order matters. Maria also has experience working within the community legal centre sector where she previously practiced as a family law solicitor at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service. Maria is very passionate about family law and provides a holistic and pragmatic approach to matters within her purview. She has a strong attention to detail, is fast and efficient in her work, compassionate, prides herself on understanding her client’s needs and obtaining the best possible legal outcomes for her clients.  She is also fluent in Russian.

Loma Roasa
PROBATE AND WILL CLERK
Loma has been with Kerr & Thomas since 2007. She has significant experience in preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney and has the day-to-day conduct of the Probate matters, as well as attending to office administration matters and legal assistant duties.

Joanna Mihaesi
CONVEYANCER
Joanna joined our firm in 2018 and has an overseas L.L.B from Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj Napoca Romania & Advanced Diploma of Legal Practice at Holmesglen Institute Vic.
She has a background in different areas of law and has been working in the property law/conveyancing sector for the past 10 years. Joanna always strives to ensure a smooth and satisfactory conveyancing experience. She also has strong communication skills and speaks fluent Romanian and English.

Stephanie Poloyannis
LEGAL ASSISTANT
Stephanie joined Kerr & Thomas in 2018. She is in her final year at Deakin University studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (focusing on Criminology, Anthropology and Sociology). Stephanie assists the professional staff in areas of Property Law, Conveyancing, Family law and Commercial law/ Business related matters. Her duties also include administration, deeds, file archiving and accounts.
